Admissions & Enrollment Process
To ensure the highest quality of participation and alignment with the program’s academic goals, the Supervised Research Training Program (SRTP) follows a structured, merit-based selection process:
 

Step 1: Open Registration

  • Applicants must submit the following documents:
    • Updated CV/Resume
    • Motivation Letter (max 300 words) clearly indicating their interest and suitability for one of the four specialized tracks.
  • Applicants must select one preferred track aligning with their academic background and career interests:
    • Track 1: Bioinformatics
    • Track 2: Global Health
    • Track 3: Geospatial Health
    • Track 4: AI for Health

Step 2: Application Screening & Shortlisting

  • Applications are reviewed based on:
    • Academic background and technical qualifications
    • Clarity and strength of motivation
    • Relevance of experience to the selected track
  • A shortlist of candidates will be created for the interview phase.

Step 3: Interview Invitation

  • Shortlisted applicants will receive an email with:
    • Interview schedule and format (online or in-person)
    • Track-specific panel members and focus areas
  • Interviews will assess:
    • Communication skills
    • Research motivation and understanding
    • Commitment to completing the full program

Step 4: Final Selection & Payment Instructions

  • Selected participants will receive an official offer letter and confirmation email detailing:
    • Their track placement
    • Payment instructions for the program fee (৳30,000 total, or ৳5,000/month for 6 months)
    • Important dates for orientation and program start
⚠️ Important Note on Ethics and Fees
The program fee (৳30,000 total or ৳5,000/month for 6 months) is strictly used for team support, platform management, and fair compensation for instructors. This is not a payment for authorship or any form of unethical academic credit. 
If you are comfortable with this ethical standard, we welcome your application. f not, this program is not for you. We uphold and expect all participants to respect core principles of research integrity. 

Step 5: Enrollment Confirmation

  • Upon successful payment of the first installment, participants will receive:
    • Official enrollment confirmation
    • Access to onboarding materials, reading lists, and program calendar
    • Instructions to join learning platforms and communication channels

Step 6: Agreement Signing

To formalize participation and ensure mutual understanding of roles, responsibilities, and ethical expectations, all enrolled participants must sign the SRTP Participation Agreement
The agreement outlines: 
  • Academic and research responsibilities during the program
  • Code of conduct, including expectations for professionalism, collaboration, and respectful communication
  • Data use and confidentiality policies
  • Authorship policy, including clear affirmation that payment of the training fee does not guarantee authorship
  • Compliance with publication ethics, research integrity standards, and intellectual property rights
Submission deadline: Participants must sign and submit the agreement within 5 working days of receiving the document. Failure to do so may result in withdrawal of admission.

Final confirmation: Only after receiving the signed agreement will participants gain full access to research mentorship, project materials, and track-specific activities.
